The original box contains eight colours (blue, green, red, red, yellow, black, brown, orange and purple). Their chalk is the first not to be toxic and the first to have bright colours4. By 1903, they had begun to produce wax crayons. The company won gold medals in Paris and Saint-Louis at the Universal Expositions2,3.
